why do most proshippers use csem and not cp? I often see it a lot and honestly it feels sorta weird since I mostly see the word “cp” on YouTube.

Also how do you guys feel about YouTube? Especially commentary channels or channels that rant on fictional works? I often watch a bunch of them and I’m curious on how you feel about at least some of them.

its mostly because the word “porn” rubs off wrong to many people, especially those who have been a victim of it, it implies that its almost like a category of porn, not really as something that is harmful. Unlike CSEM/CSAM which doesn’t try to sugarcoat it, with the exploitation and abuse just being in there.

as for youtubers, I’ve watched a lot of commentary youtubers over the years, a lot who I can’t personally agree with but that doesn’t stop me from watching them. I try to stay away from those who talk about more “problematic” medias, just because they’ll almost always say the same thing.

like, watching LS Mark go on a whole rant about Rick & Morty about how theres incest jokes just kinda set in stone for me to just go “okay, don’t watch people talk about season 5”
